William L. Iams

William Iams was born in 1872 in southwestern Pennsylvania, the son of Joseph Martin Iams and wife Sarah (Piatt). William’s father, Joseph, was a schoolteacher, reaching a mid-sized family of two sons and two daughters. Raised in nearby Union, West Virginia, William was 2nd of four children.
